SolarPLUS - photovoltaic funding for Berlin's solar turnaround

The SolarPLUS funding programme is designed to specifically support and further accelerate the expansion of photovoltaics in Berlin by improving the economic viability of solar installations. SolarPLUS is an extension and continuation of the Energy StoragePLUS funding programme.

Thus, investments in electricity storage systems are supported by grants so that the electricity generated on one's own roof can be used locally to an even greater extent. The programme's innovations are also intended to help make tenant electricity projects more economical.
In addition, solar installations on listed buildings are promoted, as well as façade photovoltaic installations and the combination of green roofs with solar installations.
Support is also provided for the preparation of solar projects by assuming a share of the costs for the preparation of studies, expert reports and concepts. The programme specifically focuses on companies that can thus implement larger solar projects.

Both private individuals and companies that invest in a photovoltaic system in Berlin are eligible to apply.
