Steckersolargeräte: Power from the balcony

Even as a tenant generate their own electricity? This idea can be implemented with funding from the SolarPLUS program for Berlin residents. The goal of this program is to support and accelerate the expansion of photovoltaics in Berlin by improving the economic efficiency of solar systems.

The funding program has been expanded to include Module E, which supports the purchase and use of plug-in solar devices and is aimed specifically at tenants in the capital.

Who is eligible to apply?

Tenants of apartments, detached and semi-detached houses and terraced houses as their primary residence in Berlin are eligible to apply for the SolarPLUS photovoltaic subsidy.

In particular, persons over whose assets insolvency proceedings or comparable proceedings have been filed or opened are excluded.

How much is the funding amount

The purchase of suitable plug-in solar devices is funded with a maximum of 500 euros per device (PV modules incl. inverter), but only the eligible expenses are taken into account. The funding program is limited to a maximum of 14,000 funding cases.
